Housing Corp Meeting, November 14, 2007 Meeting open at 7:24 Present Alumni: Shawn Schiffner (chair), John Crane (sec), Moshe Laiser, Antonis Antoniou, Matt Moy, Jason Resch Present Undergraduates: Nate Roth, Joe Craven, Jeff Lin, Tim Nystrand, Martin Lach, Nick Palladino, Vito Natale, Mclain Hubbard Reports: President • Shawn discussed state of loan and insurance issues. • Shawn discussed alumni board roles Treasurer • Moshe gave report on financial accounts • We have no debt, and we have $87k in equity Secretary • Alumni contacts are being updated (UG, National, and alum databases to be merged) • Google apps & email is up and running • Constant contact is going, we need to upgrade to full version Undergrad President • Major plumbing work was put in during work week.     o New grease trap     o Fixed all four urinals     o Fixed sinks and toilets in several bathrooms     o Drain in back pit is still draining slowly          Moshe asked undergrads to use camera to inspect pipes • New boiler     o School was losing money on steam so they put new boilers in all houses     o House now pays for gas instead of steam • Upcoming events     o Black and White, December 1st ($65 for alumni), please RSVP a week before.     o Alumni Smoker, tentatively scheduled for April 24th Old Business:     No old business New Business: Brother Crane moves to pay for 1 year worth of Constant contact at $15 per month, unless a less expensive option can be purchased because of non-profit status. Passed (6-0) Brother Laiser moves to pay for 1 year worth of online version of QuickBooks at $183.03. Passed (6-0) Brother Crane moves to reimburse undergrads for plumbing work, based on two invoices for $5000 (invoiced shows $5075, but $5000 was actual payment) and $477.
